Being in my 40's with my children not being little ones anymore  I have decided it is time to start concentrating on me - yes you did read right I said ME!! . I have finally given myself permission to start  thinking about myself instead of putting everything and everyone else first which quite frankly has resulted in me neglecting myself both physically & emotionally. My weight is going up, up & up (I think you get the message !)  I certainly don't see anything good when I look in the mirror & i would never use my name & the word pretty in the same sentence.

So what is my plan to change? I am already a member of a fantastic ladies running club which I  joined in 2014 . I went from zilch building up to 10k but the trouble is I lost my running mojo 9 months ago & have since put the weight back on & am back to square one but i would love to get back on track with this again . I have a fit bit & have set a goal of at least 10,000 steps a day , I am now a member of a gym which is not only 5 minutes away from where I live but is open 24/7 and finally I have signed up to do the moon walk in May 26.2 miles.

It isn't going to be easy, it isn't going to be pretty, it isn't going to be a quick process but I know with blood, sweat, tears & determination #thisgirlcan
